Semi-truck flying through the air and blazing into fire? That stuff usually happens only in the movies, but this time it was for real. Above is dash camera footage from Greensburg, Indiana. According to ABC Action News 30-year-old Ryan Young was driving a semi-truck with his 7-year-old son on board when he had to evade another car drifting in to his lane. Semi-truck ran up a hill and crashed through a guardrail just before it went airborne. Gas tank took major damage when the semi hit the ground. Result was lots of flames and smoke.
Notice the guy who got this all on tape. He immediately stopped his car and bravely ran to the rescue. You can see at the end of the footage, how ambulance arrives to the scene only minutes after the accident. Luckily Mr. Young and his son only received minor injuries from what could have been a fatal accident.
